The latest advancements in smart mobility and transportation technology will be showcased at the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) World Congress in Dubai next month.

The 30th edition of the event, which will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from September 16 to 20, is expected to attract 20,000 participants and feature 800 speakers across 200 sessions.

The congress will delve into key topics such as intelligent transportation innovations, sustainable mobility, smart city integration, data-driven decision-making, and autonomous vehicles.

This is the first time the ITS World Congress will be held outside Europe, North America, Australia, and East Asia, marking a significant milestone for Dubai and highlighting the region’s growing influence in transportation innovation.

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said that the city's strategic vision and pioneering advancements make it a prime venue for this global event, which will offer high-level discussions, an extensive exhibition, technical visits and real-life demonstrations.

The congress will provide a strong platform for global thought leaders, industry experts and decision-makers to explore trends, share knowledge, and forge strategic partnerships for a safer, smarter and more sustainable transportation future.
