Governments need to be ready to employ staff in new ways.

That's the word from Dr Omar Abdulraham Alnuaimi, Assistant Undersecretary for Communication and International Relations at the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.

Speaking to ARN News at the World Government Summit in Dubai, he explained that these new ways include having flexible freelance roles and part-time jobs.

Dr Alnuaimi also highlighted another key element that governments need to focus on.

The UAE government is also working with countries in Asia to create some form of labour mobility.

Dr Alnuaimi told ARN News how the UAE is encouraging people to stay here.
