H.H. Sheikh Hamdan meets Kuwaiti Emir, senior leaders

Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Tuesday welcomed His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai's Crown Prince and the UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, at Bayan Palace in Kuwait City.

Sheikh Hamdan is leading a high-level UAE delegation on an official visit to Kuwait.

During the meeting, the Emir expressed appreciation for the UAE’s leadership and the strong ties that unite the two nations.

Sheikh Hamdan thanked the Emir for the warm reception and conveyed greetings from His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Sheikh Hamdan praised Kuwait’s impressive progress in various sectors and its commitment to achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and the ambitions outlined in the ‘Kuwait Vision 2035’ initiative.

The two leaders discussed the strong bilateral relations and the strategic partnership's growth across multiple sectors.

They also reviewed recent developments in the region and the world, stressing the need for effective solutions to mitigate the impacts of conflicts and promote stability and prosperity for all.

Sheikh Hamdan also held talks with Kuwait's Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, as well as Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of Kuwait, and Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence and Minister of Interior.

These meetings reflect the deep fraternal ties between the two countries and their commitment to strengthening communication and promoting development.
