H.H. Sheikh Hamdan hails role of Armed Forces in nation’s progress

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and the UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, praised the Armed Forces for their crucial role as guardians of the nation’s progress.

He highlighted their importance in ensuring the country’s growth and development, reinforcing their role as a protective shield for the nation.

Sheikh Hamdan’s comments came during a visit to Zayed Military City in Abu Dhabi, where he inspected advanced defence systems and equipment.

He was briefed on the latest military technologies and the rigorous training of personnel, which ensures the highest levels of preparedness for any mission, both at home and abroad.

Sheikh Hamdan also emphasized the importance of continuous training to build formidable military skills and readiness.

He honoured three senior military figures for their outstanding service: Major General Staff Pilot Sheikh Saeed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Commander of the Naval Forces; Matar Salem Al Dhaheri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence; and Major General Abdullah Faraj Masoud Al Mehairbi, Deputy Commander of the UAE Naval Forces.

Sheikh Hamdan’s visit was met with gratitude from the Armed Forces, with officers expressing that his encouragement would inspire them to maintain peak readiness, ensuring the UAE remains a symbol of safety and stability.
