His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and the UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister, attended the prestigious graduation ceremony of the Ruler of Dubai's grandson at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom.

The event was marked by historic achievements, underscoring the excellence and dedication of Emirati youth on the global stage.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum distinguished himself as an exemplary cadet, receiving both the International Sword for the best international cadet and the International Award for the highest overall results in military, academic, and practical studies.

These accolades make him the first Emirati to win both honors simultaneously — a remarkable achievement that reflects his hard work, discipline, and commitment to excellence.

The International Sword is a prestigious recognition awarded to the most outstanding international cadet at Sandhurst, chosen based on exceptional performance, leadership, and discipline. The International Award further highlights his excellence in all aspects of the rigorous training program, cementing his legacy as a trailblazer for Emirati youth.

Sheikh Hamdan expressed immense pride in Mohammed’s achievements on his X platform, stating, “We are all immensely proud of Mohammed. Congratulations to him on these remarkable achievements.”

During the ceremony, Sheikh Hamdan also took the opportunity to meet with other Emirati students currently training at Sandhurst. He commended their dedication and passion, emphasising the vital role they play in representing the UAE abroad. “Our youth continue to bring pride to their nation and families. May they continue to thrive and bring greater success to our homeland,” he added.

The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst is renowned globally for shaping some of the world’s finest military leaders. Graduating from such a distinguished institution is an honor in itself, and Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed’s extraordinary achievements set a new benchmark for Emirati cadets and youth aspiring to serve their country in positions of leadership and responsibility.

As the UAE continues to invest in developing the talents and capabilities of its youth, moments like this highlight the potential and promise of the nation’s future leaders.
