Government transaction centres to resume operations in Dubai

Government transaction centres in Dubai will now operate from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm.

That’s according to the Dubai Economy (DED), which clarified that the move comes after restrictions on movement have eased in the country.

They clarified that only 30 per cent of transaction centre employees will be authorized to work and each facility must not exceed 30 per cent of its total capacity.

The DED explained that it is mandatory for all those visiting and working at the centres to be wearing face masks.

They must also adhere to the country’s health guidelines, which include sanitisation and social distancing.

Earlier, the DED has suspended all commercial activities and transactions at government centres amid concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic.
