Government employees in Sharjah are being tested for COVID-19 for free.

That's based on a decision made by the emirate's Department of Human Resources, which is testing both residents and citizens expected to return to work.

Authorities at the examination site will receive a maximum of 200 people per day, from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.

Individuals will be notified in advanced of their examination date and time.

The checks are being conducted in Sharjah's Chess Club to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals before they return to the workplace.
