Flights to India set to become shorter after Pakistan reopens airspace

If you're flying from the UAE to India then there's some good news as your journey should soon be shorter.

That's because Pakistan has now fully reopened its airspace to civilian flights after it had been closed for five months following a stand-off with India.

A statement made by the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority confirmed that the airspace is now open to all types of civil air traffic.

Airlines will now need to submit any rerouting to the relevant authorities for approval
