The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) honoured members of the organizing committee, social media influencers, and several ERC volunteers and employees who contributed to the success of COP28.

During the ceremony held on Monday at the ERC Headquarters in Abu Dhabi, the ERC presented certificates of appreciation to the honourees, recognising their role in enhancing the humanitarian and sustainable development response of the organisation.

During the conference, the ERC showcased its significant achievements in sustainability and its projects related to renewable energy worldwide and water purification.

It highlighted the organisation's creation of eco-friendly housing units made from palm fronds and recycled materials, and its use of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies to enhance project initiatives.

The ERC’s participation encompassed several vital areas within the climate conference, including initiatives in sustainable development, food security, response, preparedness, and volunteerism.
