Three Emiratis who were injured in the recent earthquake that struck Turkey have been repatriated to the UAE.

The medical evacuation was carried out by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC), in coordination with the Ministry of Defence, as part of the 'Gallant Knight 2’ operation to support earthquake victims in Syria and Turkey.

The UAE nationals had sustained moderate injuries in the earthquake that struck southern Turkey at dawn on Monday, February 6.

MoFAIC has urged Emiratis in the quake-hit countries to report and communicate emergency cases on the hotline 0097180024, in addition to registering in the Twajudi service.
