Emirati student in UAE diagnosed with COVID-19

The UAE has announced a new case of COVID-19 in the country.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), the Emirati student is currently receiving the necessary medical care and assistance. 

Ministry officials have confirmed that the 17-year-old is in stable condition. 

Everyone who came in contact with the student has also been tested in a bid to contain the spread of the virus. 

Once again, members of the public are being reminded to get the latest updates on the virus from credible sources and to avoid spreading rumours.
