Training institutes in Dubai that cater to students aged between 12 and 60 years old are now allowed to reopen.
However, they must comply with the strict health and safety guidelines outlined by the government.
According to the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), the easing of restrictions is applicable to centres that provide professional and management development training as well as those offering computer and language courses.
Technical and occupational training institutes are also allowed to reopen and so are centres for fine arts, calligraphy, music, dance, sculpture and drawing.
The KHDA has clarified that the restrictions have not been eased yet for in-home tutoring and neither for schools, universities, nurseries and early childhood centres; as well as spring and summer camps for children aged 12 and under.
From May 27, training institutes in Dubai can start offering in-person training again (with conditions). Take a look at our FAQs for more details. We’ll be updating these often. https://t.co/TWXudX4lfC
