The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and Dubai Police have launched the second edition of the Delivery Service Excellence Award, with registration open from February 19 to May 31.

The award aims to improve service quality, boost competition and promote road safety in the delivery sector.

It will honour the top three delivery service companies, the top three companies using smart platforms, and the best strategic partner, along with 200 top-performing delivery riders.

Ahmed Mahboub, CEO of the RTA's Licensing Agency, highlighted the success of the inaugural edition of the award, stressing its role in driving better performance and enhancing compliance with global best practices.

The award encourages delivery companies and drivers to maintain high standards of professionalism and safety while contributing to Dubai’s vision of becoming a 'Safe City'.

Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, Director of the General Department of Traffic at Dubai Police, emphasized that the award drives improvement in safety and service quality, encouraging both drivers and businesses to meet the highest standards while fostering a culture of safety.

Selection for the Best Company category is based on compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards, while the Best Driver category rewards those with a clean record and exceptional performance, promoting safer delivery practices.
