The Dubai Public Prosecution has responded to recent social media claims made by a Gulf national, regarding legal actions taken against her in the city.

The Public Prosecution confirmed that investigations revealed the woman (identified as Ms. RH) was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place, where she caused a disturbance, assaulted Dubai Police officers, and used offensive language while they were carrying out their duties.

As a result, the case has been referred to the Dubai Criminal Court for further proceedings.

In its statement, the Public Prosecution emphasized that the rule of law will always be upheld in Dubai, with all residents and visitors subject to the same legal standards.

They reiterated that any violations will be dealt with strictly, ensuring the law remains the ultimate authority on rights and responsibilities in the emirate.
