Dubai Police launches 'Close to You' initiative to meet the needs of employees

Central to the programme are site visits by management to employee workplaces, according to Major General Dr. Saleh Abdulla Murad, Director of the General Department of Human Resources.

'Close to You' will encourage and honour outstanding employees, commend their efforts, and provide various health, housing, education, and financial benefits.

The visits will cover all general departments, police stations, and field departments that directly contribute to achieving vital indicators.

"This commitment from the senior leadership aims to open communication channels with employees to listen to them and understand their demands, opinions, complaints, and suggestions, leading to achieving high-performance indicators," said Major General Dr Saleh.

Today's visit involved Major General Ali Ahmad Ghanem, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Community Happiness and Logistic Support, and Major General Dr Saleh who met with employees of the General Department of Organisation Protective Security and Emergencies.

Major General Dr Saleh pointed out that following up on employees' needs is a priority for Dubai Police by providing different channels to enhance communication between employees and officials.

At the end of their visit, Major General Ali Ahmed Ghanem and Major General Dr. Saleh Abdullah Murad reiterated that the goal of these continuous field visits is to ensure that the employees' voices reach officials and to work on fulfilling their needs in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations.
