Dubai Police has organised the “Care and Support” event to educate over 200 workers about their rights, duties, and the communication channels available.

Represented by Al Khawaneej Police Station, the Positive Spirit Council, and the General Department of Human Rights, in collaboration with the Thanks for Your Giving volunteer team, Brigadier Al Ketbi, Director of Al Khawaneej Police Station, highlighted the event aimed to enhance communication with the workers’ community through various initiatives and activities that foster effective interaction between the workers and Dubai Police.

The event also included the distribution of health essentials and winter clothing to over 200 workers.

Dr Aisha Balrakkad Al Falasi, Member of the UAE Family Advisory Council, expressed her delight in contributing to the event, underscoring her commitment to supporting community, educational, and awareness initiatives that instil values and promote security and happiness within society, thereby contributing to development and progress.

Saif Rahman Amir, Head of the "Thanks for Your Giving" volunteer team, emphasised that volunteering is a deeply rooted value in the UAE society. He noted that it enables the achievement of various community initiatives across humanitarian, health, education, environmental, and cultural fields. He also highlighted its role in fostering social cohesion, solidarity, and encouraging youth to participate in community service to strengthen the values of compassion and mutual support.

Fatima Buhajir, Chair of the Positive Spirit Council, explained that the event focused on educating workers about their rights and duties through lectures, awareness competitions, and cultural activities. These included information about communication channels with Dubai Police and services offered to the public, particularly to workers.

She added that these efforts continue to promote social harmony, tolerance, and mutual respect throughout the year. Dubai Police is deeply committed to its community and awareness roles, organising events and initiatives, hosting competitions, and distributing gifts to enhance happiness and positivity among the workforce.
