The Dubai Police's Command and Control Centre fielded more than 2.1 million calls during the second quarter of 2024, with 97 per cent of them being answered within just 10 seconds.

These figures were revealed during a performance review meeting led by Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commandant for Criminal Investigation Affairs.

The meeting highlighted a review of past recommendations and decisions, comparing performance metrics from the second quarter of this year to the same period last year.

Major General Al Mansouri underscored the importance of enhanced cooperation among various police sectors to meet Dubai Police’s strategic objectives and achieve top global standards in policing.

He emphasised the need for staff to meet their responsibilities with precision and timeliness to elevate service quality and work standards.

The official also reminded the public to use the hotline 999 only during emergencies and to dial the number 901 for general enquiries and non-emergency purposes.
