Dubai Police handle over 45,000 calls during Eid

Dubai Police handled a total of 45,845 phone calls during the recent Eid Al-Fitr holiday through its Command and Control Centre and the 901 Call Centre.

Of these, 40,715 were emergency calls to the 999 hotline, while 5,130 were non-emergency inquiries directed to the 901 service.

Colonel Bilal Jumaa Al Tayer, Acting Director of the Command and Control Centre, commended the call centre staff for their efficient handling of public inquiries, emphasising Dubai Police’s commitment to quick response times and community satisfaction.

He reminded the public to use 999 only for emergencies and to call 901 for non-urgent inquiries.

Abdullah Ibrahim, Acting Director of the Customer Happiness Centre, revealed that the 901 Call Centre also handled 1,273 emails and 549 live chats on the Dubai Police website during the holiday, ensuring instant support and further enhancing the customer experience.
