A young man of determination's wish to experience recreational diving has come true - thanks to Dubai Police.

A delegation from the Ports Police Station and the People of Determination Council met Musa Hussein Murad during a visit to the Ajman Club for Disabled, and when they learnt about his wish, they quickly worked towards turning it into reality.

They were also supported by their partners at the Bermuda Diving Centre in helping the man realise his dream.

Murad was trained to dive and use the equipment, while a frogmen team accompanied him during his dive.

He expressed his gratitude to the Dubai Police for their generous response and helping him achieve what he had thought was impossible.

Officials said the gesture shows that nothing can stop people of determination from experiencing various adventures.

They added that the initiative is in line with their efforts to spread happiness and positivity among all members of the community.
