Dubai Municipality shuts 8 outlets over COVID-19 violations

Five salons and three food outlets have been shut down in Dubai for failing to comply with the COVID-19 regulations.

They include restaurants in Burjuman, Al Quoz and Al Raz, and salons in Al Muraqqabat and Nayef.

Meanwhile, 23 commercial establishments have been fined and warnings handed to 57 other businesses.

As many as 2,555 outlets have been inspected during the latest round of field visits by officials at Dubai Municipality.

A total of 2,467 businesses were found to be fully compliant with the rules.
