The Mashreq Station on Dubai Metro's Red Line has been re-named as InsuranceMarket Metro Station.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has awarded the naming rights for this station to the insurance platform for 10 years.

The station is strategically located on Sheikh Zayed Road between Mall of The Emirates and Dubai Internet City metro stations.

Abdul Mohsen Ibrahim Kalbat, CEO of the RTA's Rail Agency said that this collaboration exemplifies how private sector support can enhance public initiatives and contribute to Dubai's global competitiveness.

"The Emirate of Dubai provides an excellent platform for major companies and entrepreneurs to showcase and promote their brands and Dubai Metro stations offer a unique and advanced advertising opportunity for companies and investors," he explained.

InsuranceMarket.ae’s Founder and CEO, Avinash Babur, expressed pride in this milestone, likening the metro’s role in connecting Dubai to the company’s mission of connecting customers with insurance solutions.

He anticipates that the rebranding will positively impact both residents and visitors.

The renaming process will be completed by November with the new name reflecting on all external and internal signage, and the RTA's smart systems and public transport apps.

Metro riders are advised to take note of these changes, and in the meantime, the RTA staff will be available at stations for assistance.
