Dubai Police has revealed the details of violations detected by cutting-edge radar systems powered by artificial intelligence, along with the fines and black points linked to various offences.

During a press conference on Wednesday, the authority outlined the rules and highlighted how penalties for certain offences could increase based on the severity of the violation.

For example, speeding more than 80 km/h over the limit carries a AED 3,000 fine and 23 black points, and results in a 60-day vehicle impoundment.

If the speed limit exceeds 60 km/h, the fine is AED 2,000, along with a 20-day vehicle impoundment and 12 black points.

Other violations, like running a red light, can lead to AED 1,000 in fines, a 30-day impoundment, and 12 black points.

The crackdown extends to distracted driving, tailgating, lane violations, excessive noise, failing to give way to pedestrians, and even driving with an expired licence—each with steep fines and black points.
