All restaurants, cafes and food outlets in Dubai will stop dine-in options for two weeks, starting today, as authorities tighten measures to combat the spread of coronavirus.

In a series of Tweets, the Dubai Media Office added that food delivery services will be exempt from the closure.

Restaurants within hotels and hotel apartments will be allowed to serve only their guests.

The new directives come into play as the UAE urges the public to remain indoors, unless for emergencies.
