Dubai has started constructing as many as 803 new homes for Emiratis as part of a AED 1.2 billion project.

The houses are being built in Al Khawaneej 2 and Al Warqa districts.

The initiative is being implemented by the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment and is part of efforts to enhance the living conditions of citizens.

In November 2021, housing projects worth AED 3.8 billion were approved for UAE nationals in Dubai, following the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The package included 2,000 residential plots, 900 villas and an integrated complex worth AED 500 million for small families.
