Motorists are advised to take alternate routes after authorities announced the partial closure of Dubai's Al Shindagha Tunnel this weekend.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said Al Maktoum Bridge and Al Garhoud Bridge are the best options while the tunnel remains closed tomorrow (September 26) between 12:30 am and 8:00 am.

Bus commuters could also face delays on routes X13, X02, 8, 95, C01, C03, C07, C09, C18, E306 and X23 due to the closure.

The tunnel, which was closed last weekend as well, was shut for traffic today between 12:30 am and 10:30 am.
