DHCC conducts 12,000 therapy sessions amid COVID-19 pandemic

WAM

More than 12,000 therapy sessions have been offered to community members since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) provided residents with counseling services at some of its specialized facilities, which benefited around 20,000 individuals.

This comes as part of DHC’s efforts to help people focus on their mental health by assisting them in overcoming some of the challenges posed by the global pandemic.

In light of the current circumstances affected by the virus, specialists have found that depression, anxiety, tension and family problems are some of the most common issues faced by people during the pandemic.
