COVID-19: UAE announces 283 new cases, 2 deaths

The UAE has announced 283 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 64,102.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHaP) has said than 77,640 coronavirus tests have been carried out nationwide in the past 24 hours.

Two more people have died from the virus, bringing the total death toll to 361.

A total of 98 recoveries have been reported, bringing the UAE’s total to 57,571.

There are now 6,178 active cases of COVID-19 across the country.
