COVID-19: Dubai Municipality shuts two outlets, fines five

Two establishments have been shut down and five others have been fined during the latest round of inspections by Dubai Municipality.

The authority closed a laundry in Naif for violating health and hygiene measures, in addition to a food outlet in Ras Al Khor Industrial area for not complying with the rule on face masks.

Meanwhile, warnings were issued to 30 other establishments during the inspections that covered a total of 2,377 entities.

#DubaiMunicipality continues strengthening its inspection campaigns to ensure the commitment to precautionary measures. The total commitment rate reached 98%, and the number of inspection visits reached 2,377. 2 establishments were closed, while the number of alerts reached 30. pic.twitter.com/CV5NjEVxHb
