Authorities in Dubai are continuing to crack down on businesses and sports facilities violating COVID-19 safety regulations.

Dubai Economy, in co-operation with the Dubai Sports Council, has shut down a swimming pool at a sports centre for failing to display physical distancing stickers, while three commercial outlets have been fined after their employees were caught without masks.

Four other businesses were also issued warnings for not complying with the precautionary measures.

During the latest round of inspections, as many as 670 shops and establishments were found to be fully compliant with the regulations.
