Cinemas to reopen in Abu Dhabi at 30% capacity

Movie theatres in the UAE capital will resume operations at limited capacity, authorities announced on Saturday.

According to the Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee, the cinemas will be allowed to operate at 30 per cent of its total capacity.

All COVID-19 safety protocols will remain in place, with cinema-goers told to wear face masks and maintain social distancing.

Movie-showcasers have also been instructed to carry out regular disinfection of the premises.
