Residents over the age of 60 and children under 12 are still not allowed to enter shopping malls.

That’s according to Dubai Economy (DED), which says that the same rule also applies to those with preexisting medical conditions or individuals suffering from chronic diseases.

The DED clarified that these age groups can only enter if they are visiting a therapy center or clinic located inside a mall, while being accompanied by an adult.

They will also be asked to present proof of a booked appointment before being permitted to enter the shopping center.
