Ajman Police return missing teen to family 'within hours'

A teenager, who went missing from his house, was reunited with his family after teams from Ajman Police stepped in.

A senior officer said they immediately launched a search after the parents of the 14-year-old filed a missing report, with the father reporting that he left the family home during the early hours of the day.

"Within hours", the police team traced the boy, and informed the family that he was found unharmed.

A social support team from the police remained with the teenager until his family arrived.

The family thanked the police force for their swift action, and pledged to pay more attention and care to the boy.
