AI a 'game-changer' in tackling cyberattacks: UAE official

The Chairman of the UAE Cybersecurity Council revealed that the country has successfully neutralized millions of cyber threats this year, with AI being a "game-changer".

Speaking on GITEX Tech Waves Podcast, Dr. Mohammed Hamad Al-Kuwaiti said that the UAE faced 71 million attacks in the first quarter of 2024, but showed resilience, using Artificial Intelligence for early threat detection.

He highlighted the technology’s benefits and praised the UAE's strong global partnerships in enhancing cybersecurity efforts.
