AED 15m grant pledged to help female leaders in UAE

A AED 15 million grant will benefit female leaders across the UAE and provide access to knowledge, services, support systems and resources. It's being funded by NAMA Women Advancement Establishment (NAMA), in partnership with the American University of Sharjah (AUS).

Posting on Instagram, NAMA said: "Honored to announce our partnership with American University of Sharjah to launch “Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi Chair in Women’s Leadership.”

"The AED 15 million grant is the first-ever endowed chair focused on women’s leadership and development in the United Arab Emirates."

The Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi Chair in Women’s Leadership is the first-ever endowed chair focused on women’s leadership and development in the UAE and is named in honour of Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of NAMA.
