Children under the age of 10 or below 145cm in height must not sit in the front passenger seat of a car.

That's the message from Abu Dhabi Police who have released a video on their social media platforms that explains 5 important steps to ensure the safety of children inside vehicles.

Before driving the vehicle, make sure to press the safety button to avoid opening windows and doors from behind.

Parents and guardians are reminded to make sure that children always wear a seatbelt and have the correct child / booster seats.
