Abu Dhabi’s Department of Health is helping non-critical COVID-19 patients get safe and easy remote access to medical services. ⁣

Its Remote Care app is offering tele-consultations, home visits and COVID-19 home tests.

Authorities says it helps free up the hospital space for critical cases.

In a Tweet, the Abu Dhabi Media Office said that 1,500 patients have signed up for the app during the first four weeks since the initiative started.

As many as 2,250 homes visits were conducted and 2,200 COVID-19 home tests carried out, along with 4,800 tele-consultations.
