Abu Dhabi Civil Defence awarded for workforce development

The Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority (ADCDA) has been awarded silver in the Excellence in Business Transformation category at the HR Excellence Awards 2024 in Singapore.

This recognition highlights ADCDA’s successful implementation of the T-SAT training initiative, aimed at advancing the skills and capabilities of civil defence personnel across all levels, reflecting the authority’s commitment to excellence in workforce development.

His Excellency Brigadier Salem Abdullah bin Barak Al Dhaheri, Acting Director General of the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority, said that this achievement reflects the Authority’s vision of developing and training national competencies through innovative and qualitative programmes. Receiving this international award is a confirmation of its ongoing commitment to adopting the best international practices in human resources management and human capital development.

The award was received by the Director of the Resources and Support Services Centre at ADCDA, His Excellency Brigadier Suwaidan Saad bin Dhahia Al Ameri.

He stressed that this honor enhances the Authority’s commitment to providing the best training programs and development initiatives that aim to raise the level of readiness and professionalism among its cadres, in line with the visions and goals of the Abu Dhabi Government in achieving institutional excellence.
