7-year-old picked to represent UAE at Dubai Masters

A seven-year-old pilot will represent the UAE at the upcoming Dubai Masters RC Championship.

Nasser Ahmed Nasser is the world's youngest pilot of professional remote-controlled planes and has been chosen as one of five who'll represent the country at the event, which will feature some of the best RC pilots from around the world.

There will be a total prize purse of $70,000, that's around AED 257,000, and if Nasser wins his race he'll pocket almost AED 28,000.

The Dubai Masters RC Championship takes place at the Skyhub RC campus in Al Lisaili from February 23-27.
