Bus carrying 52 pilgrims crashes in Abu Dhabi

A bus carrying 52 pilgrims has been involved in a traffic accident on Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Road in Abu Dhabi.

According to local authorities, the vehicle was travelling through the UAE capital from Mecca to Oman when the incident happened on Tuesday morning.

No casualties have been reported.

Abu Dhabi Police say the religious pilgrims on-board have been provided with lodging, meals and refreshments until an alternative means of transportation is provided.
