Dr. Ahmed Mohammad Abdul Malik urged parents to prioritise home-cooked meals and limit fast food, while Prof. Hashem Adnan Al Kilani advocated for regular physical activity and stress management to enhance well-being.

The popular weight-loss jabs were also up for discussion with experts stating that they are safe when used appropriately, but many individuals are self-medicating without proper guidance with concern over the easy accessibility to them.

The conference aims to foster collaboration among institutions and promote health-conscious communities, addressing the ongoing challenges of non-communicable diseases.
