FAYEZ NURELDINE / AFP

Saudi Arabia has imposed an evening curfew for the next 21 days as the Kingdom tightens measures to combat the coronavirus spread.

According to the directive from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the curfew will apply between 7:00 pm and 6:00 am every day from Monday, March 23.

Workers of vital public and private sectors, healthcare, and members of the military and media have been excluded from the curfew, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) added.

The public have been advised to stay at home during the curfew, unless for emergencies.
