A ferry capsized in the Buriganga river in the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka following a collision with another vessel, killing at least 28 people.

It's unclear how many passengers were onboard the ferry, with some reports putting the number at 100.

Rescuers including the civil defence, coast guard and navy personnel were continuing to search the river for survivors.
