Zayn Malik has landed an executive producer job for a new Hollywood drama. The former One Direction star - who quit the biggest boyband in the world in March 2015 to lead a "normal life" - has reportedly made a new TV show about being in a boyband, which is being produced by the creators of US comedy 'Entourage'. A source told The Sun newspaper: "This is a big deal for Zayn. He has been keen to get stuck into different projects outside of music and this is the perfect move. "It's a subject he knows lots about and he will call upon his experiences to advise the scriptwriters on the show. "If the series does well, he'll receive plenty of kudos in the industry." The 'Cruel' hitmaker - who has carved a career as a solo artist and released his debut solo LP 'Mind of Mine' in March - will play a major role in recruiting actors and liaising with scriptwriters when the movie enters the casting stage in Los Angeles next month. The 23-year-old pop star recently revealed his aspirations to follow in the footsteps of his former bandmate, Harry Styles, who has been filming in France, Holland and the UK for his upcoming role in Christopher Nolan's hotly-tipped blockbuster 'Dunkirk'. He said: "I started acting when I was in school with theatre studies and then music came after. "It completely stopped when I joined the band but I'd definitely be interested if I was given the right role." The news comes after it was reported the hunky pop stars' supermodel girlfriend, Gigi Hadid, 21, has moved into his Los Angeles home. A source said: "Zayn and Gigi have moved in together in LA and he's busy furnishing and buying paintings to change it up and make it more of a couple's pad. "They cherish every moment together and make sure they're never apart for longer than 10 days so it made sense for her to move in officially."
