Robbie Williams has teased fans that he has been asked to perform at the Super Bowl 2026 halftime show. In what is believed to be a tongue-in-cheek post, the singer said he is "honoured" to be asked to be a part of next year's event.

The 50-year-old singer, best known for hits like "Angels," wrote o X, "OMG. I've just been asked to do next year's halftime at the Super Bowl. So honored guys. Thank you."

The announcement comes just days after rapper Kendrick Lamar made history with his record-breaking performance at the Super Bowl LVII halftime show, which has become the most-watched halftime show in history.

Lamar's performance continues to go viral on social media, as fans react to his diss track "Not Like Us" which has fueled tensions with bitter rival Drake.

The Philadelphia Eagles were victorious over the Kansas City Chiefs at Super Bowl LVII.

The NFL is yet to comment on Williams' statement.
