Oprah Winfrey defends Kardashian family

Oprah Winfrey is amazed by how hard the Kardashian family work. The 61-year-old media mogul thinks people who dismiss the reality stars as untalented would be shocked if they saw how much effort they put into 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' and their other reality series. Speaking on 'The Kyle and Jackie O Breakfast show' on Australia's KISS-FM, she said: "I interviewed the Kardashians two years ago and I couldn't believe how hard they work. "People think it's just TV cameras following you, that it's easy. "But to create a reality series where it looks like something is happening all the time, you have to be on it all the time. "We were there for seven hours filming them and they were going to tape for another seven hours afterwards...That is work, no matter who you are." Oprah's defense came after actress Rebel Wilson slammed the family for having no talent and admitted she had refused to share a stage at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) with Kendall and Kylie Jenner. She said: "I was asked to present at the VMAs with Kendall and Kylie and said no. They're famous for no talent. "I said I'd do it myself. What they stand for is totally against what I stand for. They seem a bit superficial and their careers aren't really based on talent. "I know they're super popular, but I'm all about personality and working hard to get to where I am. How Kim Kardashian got famous from the sex tape and I just went to acting school and worked really hard..."
