Oasis announce two extra London gigs after ticket chaos

British band Oasis have announced two additional shows at Wembley stadium, taking the total number of gigs at the venue to seven with a different ticket pricing system to the original UK tour dates, which caused booking chaos.

Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher announced the new dates and have acknowledged the pricing issues which came with the initial tour date announcement.

The band, and Ticketmaster, have received backlash from fans who spent hours in virtual queues for tickets which were then double the initial price due to demand.

A review has since been called for into the dynamic pricing system which enables prices to change.

The band has said that tickets for the new London dates will be staggered with a invitation-only strategy. Fans can apply to be part of the ballot, which is open to those who were unsuccessful in the initial sale.

The band will take to the stage for the first time in 15 years next July when they kick of their reunion tour at the Principality stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
