Motorhead rocker Lemmy dies of cancer

British rocker Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister has died at age 70. The frontman of heavy metal band Motorhead was battling an aggressive cancer, his band said in a post on their Facebook page. "Our mighty, noble friend Lemmy has passed away after a short battle with an extremely aggressive cancer," the post said. Lemmy formed the group in the mid 1970s and soon became one of the most recognisable faces in the industry. Several fellow rockers paid tribute to him on social media, including Ozzy Osbourne who called him a "warrior and a legend".
