Kim Kardashian West was paid $1 million to take selfies

Kim Kardashian West was paid nearly $1 million to take selfies. The 35-year-old 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star reportedly received $700,000 to pose alongside social media stars for photographs whilst at a house party with the fashion brand Revolve over the weekend, which was held in the Hamptons, New York. According to the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column, the party organisers spent between half a million dollars to one million dollars on securing an appearance from the 'Selfish' author, although Kim's representative failed to confirm this. The mother of two - who has three-year-old daughter North and seven-month-old son Saint with her rapper husband Kanye West - jetted to the celebrity hot spot for the star-studded event at Revolve house in Water Mill on Saturday (16.07.16) where she spent just over one hour being photographed. The brunette beauty shared a photo of her at the fashion bash on her Instagram account, which captures her from the back taking a picture of the brands name carved out of shrubbery. Alongside the post, which sees Kim adorn a tight fitting cream body con mini dress paired with over-the-knee suede heeled boots, the television personality wrote: "Back at it in the Hamptons with @Revolve#RevolveInTheHamptons (sic)." And the reality star enlisted the service of a "small police force" for the event, with three armed guards surrounding her while others milled around. As one bodyguard entered the venue, they told a member of staff: "I'm carrying a gun. It's on my ankle." And a source said: "25 bodyguards were hired from her side. They're off-duty cops. It's like a small police force." The brunette beauty had attended the party with best friend Jonathan Cheban and documented their trip on Snapchat. Posting from a private plane, she said: "Hey guys we are getting ready on the jet. Heading to the revolve party in The Hamptons."
