Kim Kardashian West plans to eat her placenta

Kim Kardashian West plans to eat her placenta after giving birth to her second child. The 35-year-old reality TV star recently welcomed son Saint with husband Kanye West, 38, and has decided to have her placenta freeze-dried and made into pills as she believes it will ward off post-partum depression. Kim, who also ate her placenta after giving birth to her daughter North, now two, wrote on her website: "I'm having it freeze-dried and made into a pill form - not actually fry it like a steak and eat it (which some people do, BTW). "I had great results and felt so full of energy and didn't have any signs of depression. I definitely had to do it again. Every time I take a pill, I feel a surge of energy and feel really healthy and good. I totally recommend it for anyone considering it!" Meanwhile, it has been claimed that Kim has been advised not to have any more children. The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star has been warned by doctors that it is "nearly a guarantee" she will suffer from life-threatening placenta accreta for a third time if she gets pregnant again. And, according to TMZ, Kim - who has previously spoken of how much she doesn't enjoy being pregnant - is also scared of having another "extremely painful birth" if she does conceive again. The couple also think another addition to their brood would be "too much" so they are not too upset at stopping with two children.
