Kesha's new band

Kesha has a new band called Yeast Infection. The 28-year-old singer - who is currently locked in a bitter legal dispute with producer Dr Luke - took to the stage at the Springwater Lounge in Nashville, Tennessee, with the new group last week and vowed she will not be silenced. She posted a short video of her performance on Facebook and wrote: "HAPPY HOLLERDAYZ from Y E A S T I N F E C T I O N!!! I love all of my ANIMALS!!! Thanks for all of the support this year!!!....Don't worry NO ONE will ever shut me up (sic)." Kesha also took to Instagram to tell her fans about the show and wrote: "merry Christmas animals! I'm so grateful for u!! wish u all coulda been there at my show!! no matter what, no one will ever stop me from making noise. never let anyone take ur happiness. that's the only way they beat u. never let them win. love u all. merry merry (sic)." The 'Tik Tok' hitmaker - whose real name is Kesha Rose Sebert - previously filed legal documents seeking to have her contract with producer Dr Luke dissolved after accusing him of sexually, physically, verbally and emotionally abusing her for almost a decade. In response to her original lawsuit, which was filed in October 2014, Luke - whose real name is Lukasz Sebastian Gottwald - filed a counter-suit against the 'Die Young' hitmaker, accusing her of defamation. Kesha's mother Pebe Sebert is also suing the producer for allegedly causing her to suffer post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Kesha is contractually bound to make three more albums with Dr. Luke and his Kemosabe Records label, which is owned by Sony, and can't record any more music until she is released from it.
